While we pray for missionaries working overseas and provide financial support for their needs, we are also concerned with reaching our local community.

Samuel Masih

Samuel Masih’s ministry has largely been among the poor, illiterate and disadvantaged people of North India. However, several years ago, in his late seventies Samuel left Mumbai to begin an Ashram (a Christian place of refuge) in Awagarh. Today,  it now has over 200 children in school and 15 young children as boarders. In additions to this, the Ashram has re-established many home churches. The vision is to establish a Health Care Centre for the poor and needy, produce Christian Literature in various languages and start and audio-visual ministry. At age 84, Samuel and his faithful helper Aman Singh were killed. Samuel's daughter Asha continues her father's work today. Before he died, Samuel wrote about his amazing journey in his autobiography titled The Wonders of His Grace.
