Rockingham Counselling Service

Relationship counselling offers opportunities for individuals, couples and families to explore various aspects of their lives and relationships.

In addition to sessional work, Rockingham Counselling Service provides educational workshops throughout the year. (see next workshop, listed below).
Pre-marriage counselling using the Prepare Program is provided by a qualified Prepare-Enrich practitioner and is available by appointment.  Couples complete a questionnaire that provides the counsellor with a comprehensive overview of the relationship.  Couples then attend feed-back sessions that explore their relationship strength and growth areas.

    Counselling is useful for:

    • Improving self confidence
    • Expanding couple communication and dealing with differences and conflict
    • Addressing concern about closeness in family relationships
    • Improving parent and child relationships
    • Coping with separation, loss and grief
    • Repairing or strengthening workplace relationships
    • Overcoming trauma and challenges in life
    • Preparing for relationships.

The above fee schedule is a guide that most not-for-profit agencies use.

Appointments are 50 minutes in length and clients are required to arrive 10 minutes early for the first session to complete paperwork.  If you wish to cancel your appointment, 24 hours notice is required to avoid incurring payment.
